FAQ

What’s included in the base package?

A solid set for a clear, modern website: up to 5 main menu items, one collection with detail pages (e.g. blog or projects), plus a simple page content builder (including text, galleries, single images, and forms). We make sure your site looks great on phones and tablets and is displayed properly on social media and in search results, show you how to manage content, and create a start backup after launch.

Can you help with design and content?

The offer is set up so you can create the design yourself using our open Figma/Illustrator files — or work with someone who does it for you. If needed, we can connect you with designers from our network, or handle the design as an add-on. For additional content, we can also introduce you to copywriters, photographers, illustrators, and filmmakers from our network.

Can’t you just build a website quickly yourself these days?

Yes, absolutely — website builders and templates can get you online fast. Our offer is for anyone who wants a professional website without the hassle: cleanly built, easy to maintain, and structured so you can update content yourself later on. If you’d rather have a stable, reliable setup and focus on your business or creative practice, we’re happy to take care of it.

What do you need from me, and when?

For our first meeting, we need a very rough overview of your content, 2 visual references (look & feel), and 2 content references (structure and scope).

We can start development once we receive the design files from you or your designer. If your content isn’t final yet, we can begin with placeholders — but in our experience, the result is noticeably better when we can work with your real content already during development.

How much does the website cost?

The base package costs €1,440 net (+ 20% VAT). We invoice 50% upon order confirmation and 50% after development is completed and the staging environment is provided for content entry. One revision round after development is included.

If you switch to our partner my-webspace.at in Vienna (or are already hosted there), setup is faster and we reduce the price to €1,280 net. Hosting there starts at €4.59/month (depending on the plan). When you switch, my-webspace will migrate 1 domain and 2 mailboxes for free.

What is not included in the base package?

Anything beyond the base package (e.g. submenus, categories, filters, a second collection, multilingual sites, highly custom one-pagers, newsletters, or cookie banners) is absolutely possible — just as a custom project. To make sure it’s done properly, we usually start with a workshop and then provide a tailored offer.

The workshop starts at €960 and scales with the complexity of your content. In the kick-off we can quickly assess whether you need it and to what extent. Afterwards you’ll receive an open Figma file that you (or your designer) can continue working with directly.

What technologies do you use?

We work with WordPress + Custom Fields and develop a custom theme for you based on our system. This keeps the structure and code lean, understandable, and easy to maintain — without off-the-shelf themes or website builders. To guarantee this quality, we don’t extend existing websites; we build new projects on our template base.

What happens after launch?

You get 1 year of warranty on the delivered state. If you’d like, we can then take care of updates and checks through a maintenance package: starting at €240/year (1 appointment/year, up to 2 hours). If you need more, up to 4 appointments per year are possible. Any unused hours carry over to the next appointment and can also be used for new features. If you message us, we usually respond within 1–2 business days.

Can you also build more complex applications, not just simple websites?

Yes! This offer is meant as a clear entry point for a simple, professional website. If your project needs more functionality — such as integrations with other systems, login areas, or custom workflows — we’ll turn it into an individual project. We often start with a workshop to clarify structure and effort, and then provide an offer.
